TAA эк. тр., амер. помощь в отраслевой адаптации* (федеральная программа, призванная помочь физическим лицам и фирмам, пострадавшим из-за неблагоприятного воздействия импорта на какую-л. отрасль экономики; реализуется совместно Министерством труда, Министерством торговли и Министерством сельского хозяйства США; Министерство труда осуществляет поддержку работников: лицам, которые из-за увеличения импорта потеряли работу или вынуждены работать на условиях неполной занятости, выплачивается специальное пособие, а также оказывается помощь в прохождении программ переобучения, поиске новой работы, переезде и т. п.; Министерство торговли осуществляет поддержку промышленных предприятий: фирмам, пострадавшим из-за увеличения импорта, выплачиваются дотации, оказывается помощь в техническом переоснащении и т. д.; Министерство сельского хозяйства оказывает аналогичную финансовую и техническую поддержку фермерам; программа был учреждена в соответствии с законом "О торговле" от 1974 г.)See:Англо-русский экономический словарь > Trade Adjustment Assistance
